Phones and social media have already greatly harmed education and how kids socialize, and I supported legislation last year to ban phones in classrooms. Now, AI will be transforming every part of our society: from jobs and the workforce, but certainly education. We’re already seeing how colleges are dealing with kids writing their papers on ChatGPT, meaning they’re not developing the critical thinking skills needed for life.
